Standing at the closed gate of Fisherman's Village, I needed to phone reception to open the gate. The sun was bright and I couldn't see the screen of my phone clearly. I pressed the wrong button and dialled the wrong number.
William answered - he is one of two pastors who I met during a recent Holy Spirit conference - we were both delegates! It was good to hear his voice and we had a short chat.
The gate opened and I entered the main office. There was a visitor - another delegate from the conference. The other of the two pastors whom I met at the conference!
Both of the two pastors - not only brought to my remembrance, but brought into contact in person! How WOW is that ...
Coincidence? I don't think so!
... and now I am inviting you to follow me online in my quest to see what God has in mind for me and the 2 pastor friends.
Prayer-walking from William's house in Soweto to Pitso's place off the Dikhololo road on the other side of Brits.
On the previous prayer-walk when I walked around Johannesburg for 7 days, I met a man in Slovoville, Soweto. We have had incredible impact on each others lives. We are almost the same age, and have grown up within 20 km from each other, but because of the Apartheid in this country, we have discussed lots about growing up in 2 completely different worlds in the same city. He said to me one day that even after all these years it was still hard for him to talk about some incidences. I thank God that since we met, Lewis has told me he has experienced a lot of inner healing. He spoke about how seeing this white guy walk through his neighborhood, and being personally prayed for and befriended, let to him and his wife to accept the Lord in a fresh full way, and getting baptised early one icy winter's evening.
Lewis has volunteered to prayer-walk with me!
Please pray for us and with us as we prepare to step out in this adventure for God.

- Saturday, July 9, we prayer-walk 30km towards Hartebeespoort Dam.
- Sunday around the dam heading towards Brits
- Monday we will meet up with pastor Pitso and pray together to further seek God's plan and purpose in this.
I will update prayer partners with info as we walk so they can join with us in praying for this colourful country of ours. Please make sure you click the LIKE button on the Powerful Prayer-walking page. This will ensure you get the latest mobile updates direct from the roadside.

Very cool, Peet. Clearly, God is raising up workers for his harvest in South Africa. Praying that God increases your tribe for his saving work!

Great Peet, GO! GO, Jesus walks with you. I admire this walking ministry, had never thought about something like that. I started walking two months ago because since I am so inactive, I started getting chest pains, but now since I walk regularly, my chestpains are gone and I feel much better. Improved from 5 minutes exercise before getting uneasy, to walking 5 km in 1 hour without pain. Praise God. You go Peet and meet wonderful people, minister to the lonely and rejected, pick up loose ends in people's lives and apply the healing power of God as you pass by!
