Pilgrim Stories of Dust and Grace

True stories from prayer-walks and pilgrimages where the dust of the road meets the grace of God. From the forgotten paths of the Karoo to the ruins of Ghana, these are testimonies of divine whispers, unexpected provision, and gentle encounters that remind us every step is a prayer and every journey is led by Him. Step by step, footprint by footprint.

Pilgrim Stories of Dust and Grace
Lindley, Freestate Province, South Africa
I am an author, speaker, and pilgrim whose ministry is written in footsteps. I am called to undertake unassisted prayerwalks through the untamed landscapes of the Karoo, the vast silence of the Kalahari, and forgotten backroads around the globe, where the map ends and faith begins. For me, prayerwalking is intercession made tangible, born of the conviction that if you can pray, you can prayerwalk. To walk a land-to taste its dust, feel its wind, and meet its people-is to learn its heartbeat and pray for it with God's own compassion. This pilgrimage of presence allows me to see a place through His eyes and stand within its needs. At times, I am even granted the sacred privilege of becoming the immediate answer to a prayer, delivering a specific word of hope to a waiting heart. I then guide, write, and illustrate, testifying to this single truth: God meets us in our motion of obedience. The stories I collect under the banner of Pilgrim Stories of Dust and Grace are more than mere accounts; they are evidence, shared with the sole purpose of awakening you to the reality that your own path, wherever it leads, is holy ground.
