"Ancient wells" Prayerwalk

After prayerwalking from Kimberley to Gariep dam with that profound first
day spanning 66km to the centre of South Africa, Father laid on my heart to
do another prayerwalk: Kimberley to Kuruman.

To my question "What is in Kuruman", He answered I should do some research.

Keeping in mind that the 66 books point to the bible and how I felt to pray
that the bible will become central again. Actually more than central - the
centre and the cornerstone in schools, business, government, and even many
churches.
Where Petrusburg was first founded in the middle of South Africa, the
fountain dried up. The town was relocated to its current position 20 km
away.
The fountain in the middle of South Africa dried up!

Kuruman, in the dry expanse of the Kalahari basin boasts an inexhaustible
sweetwater fountain.
It has never dried out, even in the longest drought periods. It produces 20
million litres of water  daily.

The first bible in Africa was printed in Kuruman!

The prayerwalk to Kuruman will be a about the "ancient wells". In prayer
propheticallly calling forth the re-opening of wells that have been stopped
up for generations, those ancient wells of bible based evangelising, revival
and intimacy with God. And asking God to lift the veil that blinds people
from seeing the inexhaustible Fountain of Living Water.

The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched
land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.
Isaiah 58:11  (NIV)

Rocking the hard places Prayerwalk

The "Rocking the hard places" Prayerwalk (2-16 April 2012) will start at the huge man-made hole in Kimberley and end at the largest man-made dam in SA (Gariep dam).

Along the road there is a VERY significant town... PETRUSBURG: was originally started on a farm close to "Emmaus", a railway station. They ran out of water, and had to move to the present location where a strong fountain was available. So much so that the first houses had free running water from the fountain!

As I read this, I saw the pattern: Moving from the empty/barren place to a place of overflow.

‎"Christ loved the Church and gave himself for it; that he might sanctify and CLEANSE it with the WASHING of WATER by the word." Ephesians 5:25,26

Isaiah 55:1 "Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost."

"but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst; the water that I shall give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to Eternal Life." (John 4:14 RSV)

And this is what I realised as a powerful perspective when praying for South Africa ... Emmaus is the centre point of South Africa!

"When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight." Luke 24:30-31

Here is a list of the towns I will be walking through. If you know anyone in any of the towns on the map, please share this page with them. I would love to set up prayer meetings in the following towns:
• Kimberley
• Emmaus
• Petrusburg & Bolokanang
• Koffiefontein & Ditlhake
• Relebohile & Leisiesville & Luckhof
• Petrusville
• Doringkloof
• Norvalspont
• Gariep

One-two Prayerwalk

First prayerwalk for 2012
Starting at 14:00 today (1 Jan 2012).
When I plotted the final route on the map, it measured exactly 12km! WOW

The route for today's prayerwalk from Clearwater to Helderkruin - takes us over the mountain along the very (VERY VERY) steep side. Is this symbolic of your very hard year? Then we go over the edge and descend down into the valley ... to the table ... in His presence and anointing and overflow and goodness and mercy and the Lord's intimate presence.

Psalm 23
The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Your prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Please sms any prayer requests to me on the road, (+27 74 482 4341)
